The mission of Sri Balaji temple in Western Europe is to provide a place for followers of Sanatana Dharma living in Europe to worship Lord Balaji in a traditional atmosphere and to provide religious, cultural and educational resources.
The purpose is to:
- Build a temple to practice various tenets of Sanatana Dharma
- Participate in spiritual and community activities
Below is an overview of the spiritual framework of Sanatana Dharma:
- We follow the Path of Devotion by focusing on love, devotion, and surrender to a personal deity. We have all kinds of gods in the center for worship.
- We follow the Path of Knowledge, by pursuing spiritual knowledge and self-examination by studying scriptures such as the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Vedanta.
- We follow the Path of Action, which focuses on selfless actions carried out without attachment to results.
- We follow the path of meditation, emphasizing meditation, discipline,
and control of the mind to achieve self-realization.
At Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Foundation, we are open to everyone and follow a wide range of beliefs, practices, and philosophies. This motto is also reflected in the name of our foundation, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which means, world in one family and truly believes in the unity in diversity.
