Sri Balaji temple is going to be built in Western Europe, most likely in south of Netherlands, which is easily accessible from neighbouring countries. It is going to be one of the traditional Hindu temples in Western Europe.
Now, discussions are in progress with provincial government in Netherlands to discuss the idea of a temple and cultural center to get their support, gain support from wider section of local and Hindu community and to acquire land to build the temple.
The mission of Sri Balaji temple in Western Europe is to provide a place for Hindus living in Europe to worship Lord Balaji in a traditional atmosphere and to provide religious, cultural and educational resources to all followers of Sanatana Dharma
The purpose is to:
- Build a temple to practice various tenets of Sanatana Dharma
- Participate in spiritual and community activities
The architecture and design of Sri Balaji temple will be based on Agama Shastras and will be realized in collaboration with Sri Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD), Andhra Pradesh, India.
